Prometheus S.A. was founded in 2019. The idea of developing the Prometheus unmanned aerial vehicle was born out of more than 20 years of passion by the company’s founders.

We are a Polish manufacturer of a new generation of unmanned aerial vehicles developed by combining the passion, knowledge and experience of the designers and specialists working on the project.

Our flagship project – the H2 Prometheus UAV Hybrid Drone Platform ® – is being built entirely at the company’s facility located at the Okęcie AIRBUS campus (Warsaw – Poland). It is worth mentioning that it was here where, years ago, the aircraft of the RWD team were created, being the avant-garde of the technical thought of the time and breaking many records, including international ones. They were created by the brilliant Polish engineers of the inter-war period (Rogalski, Wigura and Drzewiecki).

Continuing these traditions, a team of specialists in the fields of avionics, computer science, automation, control, navigation, communications and material science crosses successive modern barriers by designing, improving and manufacturing Polish Prometheus drones.

Support for the founders and the Prometheus team has already been provided by experienced Polish investors, the leader of which is the Polish-listed investment company JR HOLDING ASI S.A. led by January Ciszewski. This support has not only enabled the final development of the H2 Prometheus platform design, but also makes it possible to launch the world’s first serial production of drones of this type.
